Found this on the web. It’s an interview with Jennifer Lopez on what she learned about loving herself, imperfection and perseverance after her divorce and decision to leave American Idol her supposed career revival) to pursue her dream of her first world tour. I also watched Dance Again, her special on HBO. I think it further humanizes her. I felt closer to her after watching it because she shows real vulnerability. She is a great performer, because of her spirit-not her outfits, face, or booty-it really comes through in her performances.. I really liked it.
She talks about how her fearlessness doesn’t mean that she doesn’t feel the fear. It means that she acts in spite of it. That’s the kind of courage I aspire to in my own journey.
